Interact with patients, visitors, staff and students by accompanying our Guest Services Staff at one of our lobby entrances. Volunteers here are responsible for greeting anyone entering the building, assisting with wheelchair transportation, escorting individuals throughout the building and assisting with basic administrative duties.
4 hour shift per week
This opportunity is for anyone who volunteers with one of UConn Health's approved Pet Therapy Organizations who is looking to bring their Therapy dog to the UConn Health inpatient Units.
2 hours per shift, once per week
Assist the information technology team in various activities from inventory to station setup and more.
4 hour shift as needed by the department
Assist in finding, documenting and contacting individuals who have lost items at UConn Health. This includes patients, visitors, staff, and students.
One four hour shift per week

Looking to volunteer from home? This opportunity is ideal for the sewer, crocheter or knitter who is interested in providing blankets, hats, mittens or other items to the patients of UConn Health.

This opportunity is for anyone looking to work directly with patients. Volunteers are responsible for assisting in answering the patient's call bells, triaging issues, and being a friendly face to patients and visitors on the unit.
One four hour shift per week
This opportunity is for individuals referred to UConn Health by AA local leadership.
Located at the Storrs campus, this opportunity allows students interested in physical therapy to assist in the therapy room. Volunteers are responsible for cleaning equipment, ensuring an organized space for the therapists and assisting with other administrative tasks as assigned.
One four hour shift per week
Assist in basic administrative functions.
One 5 hour shift per week on Mondays or Wednesdays

UConn Health's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is managed by CT Children's Medical Center.
